How Long Does eSIM Activation Take?

One of the biggest advantages of eSIM technology is how fast it works.
Instant Activation
In most cases, your eSIM is ready to use within 1-5 minutes after scanning the QR code. As soon as you add the eSIM to your device, it can connect to the network.
When Activation Takes Longer
Sometimes activation can take up to 24 hours due to network verification delays. If your eSIM doesn’t work immediately:
- Restart your device
- Toggle Airplane Mode on and off
- Check that your device has internet access during setup
After Activation
Once activated, your eSIM remains active for the duration of your plan. There’s no need to re-activate unless you reset your device or switch SIMs.
