Historic monastery founded in 1701, the spiritual capital of Montenegro. The icon of the Black Christ is the most revered artifact. The surrounding town of Cetinje has museums and old embassies.

Small lake near Kotor with a monastery of the same name on an island. The natural setting is peaceful and less visited than other sites. Good for a half-day trip from Kotor.
