Running out of data can be stressful, especially when you’re abroad. Here’s what you need to know:

How to Check Your Data Usage

Monitor your data usage in your device settings (Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Usage) or through the “check usage” link that appears in the email you receive when you purchase an eSIM.

When You Hit Your Limit

Once you reach your data cap, your data connection will stop working until you either:

  • Top up your existing plan with additional data
  • Purchase a new eSIM plan
  • Wait for your plan to renew (if on a monthly plan)
